Senior Accountant

The company is looking for a Senior Accountant with public accounting experience and a go-getter attitude. What You’ll Do Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules across cash, investments, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, leases, capitalized software, debt, and other balance sheet accounts Perform monthly revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable reconciliations, including cash application, contract balance review, and timely evaluation of contract modifications Support accounts payable activities, including invoice review, payment approvals, vendor reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies Assist with technical accounting research and prepare workbooks for complex transactions in compliance with U.S. GAAP Partner with Supply Chain, Facilities, Engineering, and FP&A to improve financial accuracy and cross-functional processes Help develop scalable accounting policies, internal controls, and operating procedures Support external audit requests and identify opportunities to automate manual work and improve data quality Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of public accounting experience with a nationally recognized firm Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842 Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment Why Work Here Long-term stock incentives for all employees Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance Four weeks of paid time off per year The chance to help build processes, improve systems, and support company growth in a high-impact environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Ignited Recruiting
