Payroll Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Process payroll garnishments and child support deductions accurately and on time.
• Set up garnishment deductions and ensure timely payment to appropriate agencies.
• Review and process court-ordered payroll documents.
• Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries and jurisdiction correspondence.
• Maintain compliance with payroll policies and legal requirements.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and garnishment-related issues.
• Analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain detailed payroll records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support payroll operations.
• Perform additional payroll-related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Previous experience processing payroll garnishments and child support payments required.
• Strong hands-on SAP experience required.
• Experience setting up garnishments and processing court-ordered payroll deductions required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite up to two days per week.
• Candidates should reside within approximately 15 miles of the Lakeland, FL office (Lakeland, Mulberry, Bartow, or Plant City preferred).
