Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy services utilizing various evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals, to create integrated treatment approaches for patients.

• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, available community resources, and coping strategies to empower them on their journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting patients with a variety of mental health concerns in the hospice setting. You will engage with individuals and their families during some of the most challenging times of their lives, providing both emotional support and practical resources. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding end-of-life care, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate and dignified treatment aligned with their values and wishes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, particularly in hospice or similar settings.

• In-depth knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and interventions.
