Work Environment

This role will primarily take place in a home care setting, where you will utilize our well-equipped aquatic therapy pool and advanced rehabilitation tools. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and aquatic therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique orthopedic conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share best practices.
• Participate in department meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to pre and post-surgical cases, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, and mild neurological issues. Your expertise in both aquatic and land-based therapies will enhance patient recovery and mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (required).
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
• Experience with aquatic therapy and rehabilitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, such as manual therapy, modalities, and strength training.

Compensation and Benefits
