S.R.T. Joints and Reflexes Therapy is actively seeking a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Niagara Falls, New York. We operate from a state-of-the-art 5000-square-foot facility that specializes in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our well-equipped outpatient clinic located in the scenic Niagara Falls area. Here, you will collaborate closely with a small team of healthcare professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the specific goals and challenges of each patient, formulating personalized treatment plans that focus on achieving optimal functionality.
• Manage a patient load carefully, treating an individual for one hour per session, ensuring a thorough and engaging experience for each client.
• Use a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, offering insights and feedback on patients' progress and treatment modifications.
• Administer evidence-based interventions, staying updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices in the field.
• Document all services rendered and maintain accurate patient records using EMR software like WebPT, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process, instilling confidence and fostering a proactive approach to their recovery.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall patient wellbeing.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans based on patient feedback and progress to ensure the highest quality of care is maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, catering to a diverse client base with various orthopedic needs. We focus on adults with conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our commitment to individualized treatment ensures every patient receives care that addresses their unique circumstances and lifestyle goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid New York State Physical Therapist license, with no board or disciplinary actions against it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise prescription.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations, including athletes and elderly patients, is highly regarded.
• Continual engagement in professional development through workshops, certifications, or professional organizations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
