Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Niagara Falls, New York. This is a full-time position where you will be integral in helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized care plans, and implement effective treatment strategies.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will find themselves in a collaborative and supportive environment, working alongside two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a caseload effectively, servicing 2 patients per hour while ensuring high-quality care is maintained.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that include a variety of proven therapeutic interventions and exercises tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies to assist in their recovery and maintain physical wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and promote interprofessional communication.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process to maximize their functional abilities.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices through wellness programs and patient education focused on strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting who are seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will work predominantly with individuals covered by private medical insurance, requiring an empathetic and motivational approach to treatment. Your efforts will focus on maximizing movement potential and enhancing the quality of life for each patient you encounter.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Impeccable professional record free of disciplinary actions or board complaints.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to patient's specific needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting is strongly preferred. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and patient management strategies will give candidates an advantage in this position. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong communication skills, a commitment to ongoing professional education, and a passion for helping patients achieve their functional goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
