In this essential role, you will be instrumental in assisting patients as they work to regain mobility and enhance their functional capabilities. You will implement personalized treatment plans designed to improve the quality of life, focusing on the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation of various orthopedic conditions.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office located in beautiful Niagara Falls, NY. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life setting. You will be part of a cohesive team, comprising two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all working collaboratively to provide top-notch patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the unique goals and healthcare needs of each patient, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload that allows for personalized attention, typically seeing one patient per hour.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to design and implement effective treatment strategies.
• Focus on cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at maximizing patients' movement and functional mobility.
• Reduce reliance on medication by exploring and prescribing non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate a diverse range of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patients.
• Customize wellness programs that meet the specific fitness and rehabilitation requirements of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver quality, personalized care that encourages full patient engagement.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process to enhance their physical functioning.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle by promoting exercises that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and patient progress, maintaining detailed documentation of care services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base predominantly consists of diverse individuals with private medical insurance, seeking effective and individualized physical therapy solutions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Niagara Falls, NY, without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of developing customized therapeutic exercise plans.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients and manage their care effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
