Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite at our well-established rehabilitation facility in Tonawanda. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapy assistants, all dedicated to providing comprehensive care in a respectful and nurturing atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Pediatric Evaluations: Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for children and adolescents, analyzing their physical capabilities and challenges to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Treatment Plan Development: Design and implement individualized treatment strategies for a variety of conditions, including neurological, orthopedic, and developmental disorders.
• Family Education: Actively educate families on home exercise programs and treatment protocols, empowering them to support their child's progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care, contributing to interdisciplinary case discussions and meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with children aged 0-21, addressing a wide range of physical therapy needs. The patient population includes those with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, sports injuries, and congenital conditions. Qualifications

• A valid New York Physical Therapy License and current CPR certification are mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate and diagnose pediatric conditions effectively.
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on progress and feedback.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically with pediatric patients is preferred, but candidates with diverse backgrounds will also be considered.
• Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy is highly desirable, with a focus on pediatric outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
