Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and strengthening resilience in patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring best practices in treatment delivery.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care that addresses the diverse needs of our patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, delivering immediate assistance and stabilization as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, reinforcing a holistic approach to mental health.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

• Participate in team consultations and training sessions, enhancing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies related to trauma therapy, incorporating findings into your clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will focus on working with a diverse clientele, particularly individuals recovering from trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the complex nature of these conditions is essential to providing empathetic and effective treatment. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards patients.
\n
• Ability to maintain calm and composure in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Strong teamwork capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in partaking in treatment planning within a collaborative framework.

• Proficient in advanced therapeutic techniques that may include DBT or ACT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
