Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services, health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Position Cook Status Full-Time (30+ hours per week); Part-Time (20-29 hours per week) Department Kitchen Reports To Executive Chef / Sous Chef Responsibilities Prepares and cooks meals for members and guests. Maintains established food quality standards and consistency of menu items. Sets up workstation, maintains cleanliness of work area, and monitors food temperatures. Adheres to state sanitation standards. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum 6 months of related work experience. Excellent knife skills. Familiarity with duties in all areas of the kitchen and the ability to multi‑task. Knowledge of culinary terminology and understanding of the fundamentals of cooking. Formal culinary education is preferred. Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Pay Range $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
