Responsibilities Set up your work area, equipment, and utensils with precision and care Expertly read and execute orders processed through our POS system Prepare delectable dishes according to our recipe book, ensuring consistency and quality Maintain the highest standards of safety and sanitation at all times Implement proper food rotation using the FIFO (first in, first out) principle Properly cover, label, date, and store prepared products Uphold impeccable personal hygiene standards in compliance with local health ordinances Keep your work area spotless, store utensils, and clean equipment thoroughly Occasionally operate the dish machine and prepare salads and raw products for the cook's line Support the team by performing other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager Requirements 2-3 years of full-service restaurant cooking experience preferred Experience in fine dining/steakhouse concepts is a plus Proficiency in French cuisine and preparations Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail Current food handling and sanitation certification as required by local regulations Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Employment Type: Part Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
