Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a focus on urological and vascular surgery patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpret telemetry data, and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with an LPN/RN team model maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6
• Float within scope of practice as needed across applicable units
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification required and must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system required
• Must be available for 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Must complete the full 13-week contract length

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in urological or vascular surgical nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability in float assignments
