Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Peaceful Paths Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals, couples, and families to identify mental health issues and establish treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions that may include couples counseling and individual sessions for family members, addressing various challenges such as grief, substance abuse, and interpersonal conflicts.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy and systemic approaches.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and organization policies.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and maintain licensure.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a diverse array of client demographics, including adults, children, and adolescents facing a range of mental health and relational issues. Specific challenges include:

• Experiences of physical or psychological abuse requiring trauma-informed interventions.

• Support for blended families, particularly those navigating remarriage.

• Assistance for individuals adjusting to separation and divorce, including their families.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
