This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through our telehealth platform. Our schedule encourages work-life balance with typical hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individual, couple, and family therapy clients, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to understand their unique needs and backgrounds.

• Develop personalized therapy plans that empower clients to cultivate resilience and enhance coping skills tailored to their situations.

• Effectively address crises through the design of safety and relapse prevention strategies, ensuring clients have actionable recovery plans in place.

• Document all client interactions and progress notes within our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate in weekly team meetings and case supervision, sharing insights and strategies to foster a collective growth mindset among therapists.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a wide variety of clients, ranging from individuals navigating personal challenges to couples and families seeking support for relational dynamics. Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds and experiences, looking for a safe space to address mental health issues, improve communication, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A current, valid license in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.

• Proven ability to manage diverse client needs with compassion and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably focusing on telehealth.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is highly regarded.

• Prior experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
