Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients, providing evidence-based support and interventions tailored to individual needs.

• Utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to help facilitate client breakthroughs.

• Support clients in navigating their recovery by discussing harm-reduction strategies customized to their goals, whether they aim for moderation or abstinence.

• Encourage clients to explore various community recovery support options, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Smart Recovery, affirming their potential benefits.

• Manage your scheduling flexibility and logistics to honor client commitments, ensuring prompt follow-up for no-shows and late cancellations.

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to contribute to our 'Expert Insights' feature, sharing expertise and fostering community learning.

• Participate in ongoing training and development, securing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) at minimal cost, as the organization covers these expenses.

• Connect regularly with our Clinical Operations Team, benefiting from streamlined care coordination and peer support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will mainly consist of individuals seeking to reassess and change their alcohol consumption patterns. The diverse patient population includes those embarking on recovery, seeking moderation, or striving for abstinence. As a counselor, you will assist each client in creating a personalized treatment plan that respects their options and goals, fostering a safe and non-judgmental space for exploration. With an understanding of various community recovery models, you will guide them toward a path that suits their personal journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of California is required.
