The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:50 pm. Successful candidates must have university teaching experience and have an MFA or equivalent professional experience. Course Description Provides hands‑on experience in acting for film and television. Students will work in various genres (e.g., commercials, romantic comedy, drama, etc.) discuss acting techniques as they apply to film performance via practical projects, reading, written assignments and critiques. Qualifications A Master of Fine Arts in Theatre/Acting At least 3 years' experience working with university students Current website portfolio Preferred Qualifications Professional acting/directing experience Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service.
