Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments for students, evaluating their emotional, social, and academic needs to formulate effective intervention plans.

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment to school, and interpersonal relationships.

• Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and other mental health professionals to develop tailored strategies that promote mental health and emotional resilience.

• Coordinate with community resources to recommend post-discharge support and services that facilitate a smooth transition for students.

• Develop crisis intervention protocols in collaboration with school staff to effectively address emergencies and ensure student safety.

• Educate families on the importance of mental health, treatment options, and available resources to support their children’s development.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and interventions in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
