Work Environment\n

This role embraces a remote work setting, enabling you to connect with and support clients from the comfort of their homes while maintaining a flexible schedule. Our telehealth facility utilizes advanced technology to facilitate seamless interactions, ensuring a supportive atmosphere where emotional and psychological healing can occur. Our team operates seven days a week, with hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, providing you with the flexibility to design a work schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' past trauma and current mental health status, ensuring the identification of tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, considering the unique background and circumstances of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to process their experiences, learn coping strategies, and foster community support.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention in situations involving trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and management of mental health issues.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMHC in the state of New York is essential to practice within our facility.

Compensation and Benefits\n
