Shipping & Receiving SpecialistKelly is working with a client that is expanding its operations and seeks a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team.The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely handling of goods for both local and international shipments. This role requires forklift operation, attention to detail, and knowledge of relevant shipping regulations and procedures.Prepare, process, and track incoming and outgoing shipments (domestic and international)Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyVerify shipping documents, packing lists, and invoicesCoordinate logistics with carriers and freight forwardersEnsure all products are labeled and stored correctlyMaintain inventory accuracy and support stock managementInspect packages for damage and reconcile discrepanciesAdhere to health, safety, and security proceduresAssist with loading and unloading trucksMaintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving areaHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in both local and global logistics environmentsValid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experienceFamiliarity with international shipping documentation and proceduresStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsProficiency with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plusCompetitive compensationTraining and advancement opportunities
