Company Overview:
Kelly is working with a client that is expanding it's  operations and seek a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely handling of goods for both local and international shipments. This role requires forklift operation, attention to detail, and knowledge of relevant shipping regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, and track incoming and outgoing shipments (domestic and international)
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Verify shipping documents, packing lists, and invoices
• Coordinate logistics with carriers and freight forwarders
• Ensure all products are labeled and stored correctly
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock management
• Inspect packages for damage and reconcile discrepancies
• Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in both local and global logistics environments
• Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience
• Familiarity with international shipping documentation and procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Proficiency with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus
