Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient clinic within a hospital facility, where you will be surrounded by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will find a supportive atmosphere conducive to both professional development and excellent patient care. Our clinic has a patient-focused layout, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and ongoing support staff to assist in effective treatment delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Implementing treatment plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their needs.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records that contribute to ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Assisting patients with prescribed exercise routines, educating them about the techniques and goals of their therapy, and motivating them throughout their sessions.
• Organizing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, ensuring that all therapy areas and equipment are ready for daily activities.
• Helping assess patients' coordination and mobility, actively participating in evaluations that inform treatment strategies.
• Engaging with patients of varying ages and conditions, from post-operative orthopedic cases to general musculoskeletal issues, enhancing their quality of life through effective therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, all of whom benefit greatly from tailored physical therapy. Qualifications

• Active physical therapy assistant license in the state of Florida, reflecting your commitment to professional standards and ethical care.
• Educational background consisting of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, equipping you with foundational knowledge of physical therapy practices.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an outpatient clinical setting, showcasing your skill in managing patient care and rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.
• Strong grounding in manual therapy techniques, which will contribute to improved patient outcomes and comfort.
• Comfort and adaptability in working with a wide range of patients, from athletes to elderly individuals, across various conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
