These openings focus on middle school students and offer the chance to make a significant impact within dynamic educational settings.

Multiple positions are available:

• Full-time Learning Services at Northglenn Middle School, beginning September 23rd for a 7-week period with a mild-moderate caseload.
• Full-time or part-time SSN Teacher (Significant Support Needs) and Learning Specialist (mild/moderate) roles at Rocky Top Middle School, starting as soon as possible and continuing through winter break. Candidates may indicate interest in SSN only or the split position.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado DOE Teacher License with a Special Education Generalist Endorsement (Ages 5–21).
• Experience supporting students with mild to moderate or significant cognitive and communicative disabilities strongly preferred.
• Up-to-date fingerprinting and credentialing, per district requirements.
• References uploaded and ready for presentation.
• Dedication to evidence-based practices and individualized educational strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver high-quality specialized instruction adapted to meet diverse student needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, collaborating closely with families, service providers, and school staff.
• Foster a nurturing, achievement-oriented classroom community.
• Maintain clear records and comply with all district documentation policies.
• Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed.

Assignments are full-time (37.5 hours per week) at one or potentially two schools, depending on the placement, covering either the full learning services position or a hybrid SSN/Learning Specialist role.
