Enhance your career as a Special Education Teacher with a full-time contract opportunity at a welcoming educational environment near Aurora, CO. As an onsite SPED Case Manager/Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students' academic and behavioral growth, working collaboratively with staff and families to deliver individualized education.
Your role begins August 3, 2026, and extends through May 20, 2027. The specific caseload is pending, with additional details forthcoming, but your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a positive, inclusive learning experience for students with diverse needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado Special Education Certificate (required)
- Experience with developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to manage, track, and document student progress
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and case management for students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal laws
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions
