Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at CenCal Mental Health Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive pre-crisis and crisis plans, including behavioral guidelines and medication treatment strategies.

• Fulfilling documentation requirements promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintenance of client confidentiality.

• Employing evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client progress and make informed decisions regarding treatment adjustments.

• Collaborating with team members to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans that encourage client growth.

• Engaging actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest professional standards within the clinic.

• Serving as a liaison to local service systems and community partners to facilitate resource sharing and coordinated care for clients.

• Maintaining open and effective lines of communication to meet contract standards and advance the mission of the organization within the community.

• Building relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to foster collaboration and secure funding or additional resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We primarily serve individuals who are navigating emotional health challenges, recovering from substance use disorders, or managing disabilities resulting from developmental issues or brain injuries. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory.

• An active and independent LPCC license is required to practice in the state of California.

While a minimum of one year of experience as a mental health counselor is required, candidates with additional experience in crisis intervention, substance use recovery, or community mental health services will be given preference.
