This position offers flexibility as a full-time remote role within an outpatient office setting. While primarily working from home, you will also engage with various stakeholders, including law enforcement and mental health facilities, to execute your responsibilities effectively. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and crisis evaluations, both remotely and in collaboration with law enforcement, to determine the appropriate response for individuals in distress.

• Assist in developing individualized action plans for clients, particularly focusing on those requiring involuntary detention (5150/5585 applications) in psychiatric facilities, ensuring the proper legal and ethical protocols are followed.

• Provide ongoing case management in collaboration with third-party entities, including the Department of Mental Health and psychiatric facilities, while maintaining regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions.
\n
• Document and maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
\n
• Facilitate communication and coordinate responses with law enforcement, hospitals, and psychiatric professionals, ensuring a seamless and integrated approach to mental health intervention.
\n
• Support police officers in conducting field assessments to evaluate mental health needs, aiming to de-escalate situations and mitigate the use of force.
\n
• Offer short-term crisis counseling for non-violent individuals experiencing mental health episodes, working swiftly to provide support and guidance.

• Participate in the training of law enforcement personnel on mental health crisis intervention strategies, focusing on effective de-escalation techniques.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population encompassing community members in crisis, including individuals with mental health disorders who may have encountered law enforcement. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active LPCC licensure in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Peaceful Harmony, Inc. values the hard work of its employees. As such, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $122,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
