Medium Enterprise Account Executive - FSI

About The Role Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new revenue focus, they are the fuel for Workday’s new customer growth. This team of hardworking professionals guides new customers on a journey that can free them from legacy platforms and embrace a new class of enterprise management cloud. We partner with customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long lasting value and ensure customer satisfaction from day one and beyond. Responsibilities Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment. Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and share Workday value propositions. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data. Basic Qualifications 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud‑based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning or Analytics solutions to C‑levels from a field sales position. 4+ years of experience negotiating deals with a variety of C‑suite executives to close opportunities. 4+ years of experience engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory. Other Qualifications Proven track record in a high‑velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities – ideally selling to Financial Services and Insurance companies. Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts. Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay Transparency Statement Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta - Base Pay Range: $137,400 USD – $167,600 USD. Additional U.S. locations: $137,400 USD – $167,600 USD. Compensation may include Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Each offer is based on factors such as geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need. Flexible Work Approach Workday combines in‑person and remote work. Teams are expected to spend at least 50% of their time each quarter in the office or in the field, allowing flexible schedules that fit individual and team needs.
