Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Reno facility, where you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health by obtaining accurate health histories and performing thorough physical examinations.
• Deliver direct clinical care, including diagnosing and managing a wide range of health problems, from acute illnesses to chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans as necessary, and order and interpret laboratory tests, x-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to enhance patient care.
• Evaluate patients' needs for specialized health services, ensuring continuity of care through effective referrals when necessary.
• Provide patient and family education on health management and preventive care, utilizing tailored teaching strategies to empower patients.
• Maintain detailed and thorough documentation in the medical records regarding all patient interactions, care provided, and subsequent follow-ups.
• Stay current with certifications and ongoing education requirements to retain licensure and privileges, ensuring adherence to best practices in nursing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of patients, from children to seniors, each with unique healthcare needs. Your expertise will be crucial in managing both acute health issues and chronic diseases, and your ability to build relationships will foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Nevada.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that reflect a patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in urgent care or family practice.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off to support your work-life balance.
