Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs, followed by the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective interventions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing prevalent mental health concerns, fostering connection and community among participants.

• Collaborate closely with fellow team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges or emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their care journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in the field.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Bright Duchess, you will work with a diverse patient population seeking support for various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPCC license in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches tailored to individual client needs.

• Experience conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment plans for diverse populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
