Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and utilize diagnostic skills to formulate treatment plans tailored to meet client needs.

• Implement short-term counseling interventions using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based practices for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and more.

• Engage in short-term case management to ensure clients receive ongoing support throughout their treatment journey.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective crisis intervention strategies when necessary, including assessment and de-escalation, while coordinating with public mental health services as needed.
\n
• Provide follow-up assessments and prevention planning after crisis situations, ensuring clients receive the resources and support they need for recovery.
\n
• Work collaboratively with clients’ families and support systems to involve them in the treatment process and enhance overall therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on diverse populations, including individuals and families facing challenges such as depression, grief, loss, behavioral health issues, and trauma histories. You will work closely with clients to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship, creating a safe space for them to engage in their recovery journey. Your interventions will aim to promote client autonomy and resilience while addressing psychosocial stressors that may hinder their mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Current clinical licensure in California as one of the following: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or a psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology platforms for telehealth service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient, community-based mental health settings.

• Familiarity with recovery-oriented practices and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in crisis intervention and case management.
\n
• Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling, including some nights and weekends to support client access to services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
