Work Environment\n

This role is structured as a full-time position with a standard working schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While the position is primarily remote, there may be occasions where evening shifts or weekends are required, in order to meet the needs of our students and their families. On-call availability may also be necessary to provide timely support during mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students presenting with a variety of special needs, ensuring each evaluation incorporates their unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address mental health issues, social skills, emotional resilience, and academic integration.

• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, ADHD, and trauma histories.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that promote personal growth and emotional regulation.
\n
• Work closely with educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure seamless integration and comprehensive care for students.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies to secure student safety and well-being.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation to students and families, increasing awareness of mental health issues and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain clinical documentation that meets legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will focus on students with diverse special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
