Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess mood disorders, including the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their specific goals and preferences are prioritized.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Empower clients and their families through education about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development efforts.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and support initiatives that aim to reduce stigma and promote access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on providing therapy for clients dealing with relationship issues, divorce, and family dynamics. You will work closely with individuals, couples, and families, offering guidance and support to help them navigate complex emotional challenges. Your expertise in various therapeutic modalities will enable you to address the unique needs of each client effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.

• Demonstrated ability to build a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit empathy, emotional intelligence, and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and challenges.

• Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage client caseloads and related administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in divorce and relationship counseling is highly desirable.
