Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, creating personalized treatment plans that align with individual goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster community connection and peer support, addressing various mental health topics.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing EMR software effectively.

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, participating actively in case reviews and team meetings.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education to stay abreast of the latest in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing mental health support to clients with limited access to quality care, particularly those experiencing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys and achieve lasting positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing mental health practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, based on experience and caseload.
