Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Phoenix, AZ. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities with government entities, contractors, and commercial clients, while strengthening relationships with existing accounts. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotes, and tracking opportunities in a CRM system. The role coordinates closely with internal teams to understand product capabilities, ensure accurate pricing, and support timely delivery. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, participate in industry events, and contribute to sales strategies and forecasts to drive growth in traffic safety and signage solutions. Qualifications Strong skills in business development, sales prospecting, and account management focused on B2B or government/contractor markets. Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and contract or bid preparation. Ability to analyze market trends, develop growth strategies, and use CRM and sales reporting tools effectively. Knowledge of construction, transportation, traffic safety products, or signage industry is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple opportunities and deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in business development or sales.
