Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client through comprehensive assessments and evaluations.

• Conduct therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups for various demographics including families, couples, and individuals, ensuring a safe and constructive environment for open discussion.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within client care protocols.

• Engage in ongoing education and training workshops, focusing on the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Our focus is on serving populations with limited access to care, including underserved communities who may be experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will be instrumental in promoting their emotional resilience and overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York is essential.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, ideally within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
