Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility in your work-life balance while maintaining a structured approach to client care. As part of our outpatient office, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. Regular virtual meetings will ensure that you are supported and aligned with our team objectives while providing exceptional care to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create personalized treatment plans for clients based on comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Conduct in-depth initial assessments to better understand the emotional and psychological needs of each client.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clients' confidentiality and safety.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current with the latest trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role predominantly serves diverse clients, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management. The center specializes in providing support to clients navigating workplace conflicts and those coping with various mental health challenges, which may include psychiatric issues or substance abuse. Your ability to empathize and adapt therapeutic practices to suit varied backgrounds and personal experiences will be critical in achieving favorable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Demonstrated ability to meet credentialing requirements within various clinical environments.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or in substance abuse treatment settings.
• Strong background in conducting assessments and providing individual and group therapy.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic keyboarding knowledge.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices is advantageous.
• Previous engagement with diverse client populations, understanding cultural competencies in mental health.
• Familiarity with an array of therapeutic interventions and a willingness to learn new techniques as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
