Work Location Virginia Beach, VA (Oceanfront) Alternate Designations Bookkeeper Full Charge Executive Assistant Office Manager EA Opportunity We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper and finance manager based in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate has payroll experience, QuickBooks expertise, and is fast and exceptionally organized. High energy and a fun attitude are highly desirable as we are a fast‑moving company. Day to Day Focus on keeping the books, performing payroll activities, administering human resources functions, and assisting executives with day‑to‑day tasks. Responsibilities include preparing presentations, proofreading, planning minor projects, tracking progress, bookkeeping using spreadsheets and QuickBooks, note taking, scheduling, report writing, email communications, planning travel, logistics and events, and providing status updates to stakeholders. Office management responsibilities are minimal, such as running errands and maintaining a tidy workspace. Must have normal physical attributes for office work and fast typing skills. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping using QuickBooks and spreadsheets. Process payroll, benefits administration, and employer required filings and taxes. Manage human resources functions and support executives. Plan travel, logistics, and events. Prepare and present reports, communications, and presentations. Keep office organized and assist with errands as needed. Requirements US citizenship or authorization to work in the USA. College degree or at least two years of college. Proficiency with computers and web applications. Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute. Bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks or equivalent. Experience with payroll and benefits administration. Knowledge of employer required filings and taxes. Experience with Apple productivity apps (Mac‑friendly). Budgeting and estimating experience. Travel booking experience. Positive personal or professional references. Bonus Points Public Notary Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Human Resources Management Payroll and Benefits Administration Involvement in PMI organization Corporate tax preparation experience Technical writing experience Compensation and Experience No prior professional experience required. $55,000 to $85,000 depending on experience and ability to solve problems.
