Coordinator, Business Operations - (TCH Pathology)

Summary The Department of Pathology & Immunology and Molecular & Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine, in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations to support our research faculty and teams. The Coordinator, Business Operations plays a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations, coordinating calendars and meetings, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with a variety of operational tasks. This position helps ensure a smooth workflow across research programs and contributes to keeping teams organized, efficient, and productive. Job Duties Provides general administrative and operational support to Faculty and Staff. Manages calendars and schedule meetings, including coordinating logistics and preparing materials. Monitors and reconciles departmental and faculty accounts to track expenses accurately. Processes travel requests, expense reports, and financial transactions in accordance with institutional guidelines. Submits and track purchase orders in Jaggaer to ensure timely procurement. Assists with special projects, tracking tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion. Maintains accurate and organized records and documentation. Serves as a point of contact for routine questions and communications. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience using Jaggaer and Concur. Work Authorization Requirement This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
