Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments of new clients, identifying their unique needs and circumstances.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with the goals and preferences of each client, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience.

• Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed therapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.

• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation within our secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer advocates, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for clients.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision meetings and participate in optional peer consultation groups to enhance clinical skills and share insights.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development through in-house training sessions, workshops, and continuing education units (CEUs).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele in San Francisco, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. This diverse population requires a deep understanding of various cultural perspectives and the ability to tailor therapeutic approaches accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• Active California LMFT license; pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapists under supervision may also be considered.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly in family systems or couples therapy.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong commitment to maintaining timely and accurate documentation.

• A passion for providing equitable and inclusive, culturally responsive care to clients from various backgrounds.

• Self-motivated and able to independently manage a flexible caseload while adapting to changing client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting, focusing on outpatient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The LMFT position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, in addition to performance-based incentives. Benefits include:
