Description UNC Health Pediatrics at Apex is hiring a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (PNP/PA). The focus is taking care of kids from birth to 18 years of age. Located conveniently at Kelly Road and Olive Chapel Road near Publix and Olive Chapel Elementary School, appointments after school are available. Providers collaborate with parents to give personalized care to meet family needs. The team is dedicated to treating the whole child with a child‑centered mission. Services Well‑child checks Immunizations Sports/school/camp physicals Hearing, vision, and developmental screenings Same‑day sick care Management of chronic health conditions including asthma, allergies, diabetes, and obesity Behavioral consultations including evaluation and treatment of ADHD Practice Hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Requirements Pediatric APP Licensed in North Carolina 2-plus years of experience required Completion of an accredited graduate‑level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina Board certification if required by the Department DEA registration Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated clinical competency Effective leadership and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills Effective interaction to ensure successful patient care in the clinical setting Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing EEO Statement Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, status as a protected veteran or political affiliation.
