Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational support groups that help patients connect with each other and learn coping strategies for mental health challenges.

• Team up with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless care experience for patients recovering from substance use and mental health disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and secure documentation of patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and improve treatment strategies.

• Stay informed on the latest therapeutic advancements and research to continuously enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients experiencing substance abuse issues, along with various mental health disorders. This role is particularly impactful as many of these patients are in vulnerable situations, requiring sensitivity, understanding, and professional guidance to navigate their recovery while addressing co-occurring mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy across diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients effectively.

• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of hands-on experience in a mental health setting, particularly in crisis intervention or substance abuse treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
