Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges and substance use histories, leading to the creation of personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that are tailored to enhance clients’ coping skills and promote recovery.

• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and monitor their progress through regular evaluations, making adjustments to treatment plans when necessary.

• Provide teletherapy services as an option for clients; ensure accessibility for those who may prefer virtual meetings due to mobility or logistical challenges.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and relevant regulations.

• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to remain current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use. These clients often face complex mental health issues alongside their substance use disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other co-occurring conditions. Your role will be pivotal in providing empathetic support and effective therapeutic interventions that promote healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license from the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with diverse clients.

• Proven organizational and time-management capabilities, enabling effective caseload management and fulfilling administrative responsibilities.
