Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate treatment interventions.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to therapy.

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Touchstone Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied clientele, including individuals facing relationship challenges, families undergoing transitions, and couples navigating emotional distress. Your therapeutic interventions will be instrumental in fostering resilience and promoting mental health recovery, contributing to the improved quality of life for clients across diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LMFT license issued in California.
\n
• At least three years of experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly with diverse family systems.

• Demonstrated proficiency in writing detailed clinical notes and treatment plans.
\n
• Strong ability to establish rapport with clients and create a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Skilled in conducting thorough mental status examinations and discerning variations in client mental health status.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working with diverse populations, including various racial, ethnic, and socio-economic groups, is highly preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), is also beneficial.
