Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, identifying the severity and duration of their experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families, guiding them through the complexities of mood disorders and advocating for appropriate treatment options.

• Monitor significant progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses both psychological and physical health needs.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research, informing your therapeutic practices with contemporary insights.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation of all client interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. These clients may come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and challenges that require personalized care approaches. Your role is to empower them on their journey to improved mental health through empathetic listening and expert guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required.

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Clinical Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Demonstrated understanding of California laws and professional ethics related to mental health practice.

• Current TB test verification within the last six months and the ability to pass a background check through the FBI and DOJ.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
