This position enables you to leverage telehealth technology to provide mental health services remotely, enhancing accessibility for our patients. You will work from the comfort of your home while remaining fully connected to our practice's support team and resources. Our work hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate patient needs, including occasional evening shifts. A sign-on bonus is also available to support your transition into our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological well-being, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique diagnosis and needs, incorporating current best practices in mental health treatment.

• Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing a range of evidence-based therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at resolving emotional issues, promoting personal growth, and developing robust coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses not only mental health but associated physical health concerns.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing sound judgment and de-escalation techniques.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them, addressing any questions or misconceptions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals of varying ages and backgrounds who are coping with mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, including trauma-informed care principles.

• Exceptional assessment and diagnostic skills, with a proven track record of developing effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
