Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments and evaluations of clients, using evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs and circumstances.

• Implement therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting methods to best suit each client’s challenges and goals.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of treatment, participating actively in team meetings to discuss client progress and therapeutic strategies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and peer consultations to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, guiding them through mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily support clients dealing with a wide array of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related disorders, and relationship challenges. Our population is diverse, and you will work with individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that addresses their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, especially those geared towards cognitive-behavioral approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
