Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that care is tailored to meet diverse needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, applying therapeutic modalities relevant to each patient's unique situation and challenges.
\n
• Complete essential documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, within specified time frames, maintaining organizational efficiency.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety and wellness plans to support patients in achieving stable functioning.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that facilitate continued growth beyond therapy.
\n
• Comply with all federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training and continuing education opportunities to uphold clinical competence.
\n
• Actively participate in agency meetings and case consultation sessions to collaboratively enhance patient outcomes.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training in alignment with state requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, which includes individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your proficiency in culturally competent care will be essential in fostering trust and effective therapeutic relationships with every client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that meets licensure requirements.

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of New York (i.e., LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) is essential to practice in this role.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and families.
