Work Environment\n

The Mental Health Therapist position is predominantly remote, enabling you to work from a climate-controlled environment within your own home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess and diagnose patients’ mental health status using established clinical tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to create tailored treatment plans that address cultural diversity and the unique needs of your patient population.

• Monitor patient progress continually, delivering effective interventions and therapeutic strategies that align with their mental health diagnoses.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment records and progress reports, leveraging current technology in compliance with regulatory standards and departmental procedures.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment plans that reflect individualized goals and desired outcomes, actively involving them in the decision-making process.

• Coordinate referral options, effectively linking patients with appropriate treatment providers, while fostering positive working relationships with fellow clinicians and external agencies.

• Facilitate education and mentoring for students, interns, residents, and volunteers, reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

• Under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, participate in peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and mentoring initiatives aimed at fostering team member growth.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Pyramid Counseling Center, you will primarily support individuals and families navigating the emotional and psychological challenges brought on by cancer diagnoses. Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
