Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to ensure thorough understanding of patients’ needs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient’s unique circumstances, employing techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers and multidisciplinary teams for effective discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions for patients back into the community.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions on various mental health units, guiding discussions and fostering a supportive atmosphere among participants.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings with the Clinical Supervisor, allowing for professional growth and the enhancement of therapeutic skills.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in mental health and medical rounds, providing valuable insights during case conferences and contributing to collaborative treatment planning.

• Provide crisis intervention and follow-up care as necessary, ensuring patients receive the full support required during critical moments.

• Occasionally conduct psychological testing and assist in supervising social work interns, aiding in their professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n
