Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you'll be responsible for:

• Conducting initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, among others.

• Providing individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Documenting clinical progress accurately and maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular multidisciplinary team meetings that include collaboration with psychiatrists and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain updated on the latest mental health trends and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be to serve a diverse clientele in Sacramento and surrounding areas, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. With a deep understanding of cultural competence, you will establish trusting relationships with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring they feel valued and understood as they embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting.
