Work Environment

The position is based in a state-of-the-art hospital facility, where you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team focused on pain management. You will experience a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments that involve detailed medical histories, thorough physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic evaluations to determine the root causes of pain.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with supervising physicians, aimed at alleviating discomfort and enhancing quality of life.
• Initiate and perform clinical procedures and minor surgical interventions, such as nerve blocks or joint aspirations, under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Facilitate patient education sessions on pain management techniques, treatment options, medication use, and lifestyle changes that support health maintenance.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records, ensuring that all information is current and accessible for follow-up care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant in Pain Management will cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, or post-operative pain. You will work closely with patients from various backgrounds, understanding their unique challenges and creating personalized care strategies that resonate with their specific needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active State licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a pain management or similar clinical setting.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with the capacity to work autonomously within your scope of practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between USD 150,000 and 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside performance-based bonuses.
